The software developer in Indonesia get invited to undertake activities with the label 'hacking'. Make no mistake, this one is done for good.
The name of its activities is to include the word 'hack', but do not get stuck in negative stereotypes first. The word 'hack' here refers to developing software for specific purposes.
The event is 'Hackathon' (marathon hacking) Random Hack of Kindness (RHOK) held in the Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction, Menara Thamrin, Jakarta, 4-5 December 2010.
From the written information received, this event will be held for 48 hours non-stop.
The developer is expected to produce software that can be used in disaster response efforts. Another aim was to reduce the impact of disasters and help save lives.
And, just as with the marathon, there are winners and the prizes that can be achieved. Each Hackathon RHoK will be competition with the limitation of time to complete the challenge they can.
At the end of the marathon for two days, the panel will assess each retasan, and the winner will take home prizes and nicknames, Star RHoK.

This event brings the best and the brightest developers from around the world, they voluntarily provide time to solve real world problems.
RHOK was initiated Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, NASA and the World Bank. The event was first performed in California in November 2009.
